![]() Research being done at the National Institute for Mental Health has shown the human brain is actually three interlocking, but separate brains. There is the “reptile brain” that actually is the primitive brain--- it controls the basic fight-flight instincts. Then, grown over that is the “mammal brain,” governing emotions and other functions we share with other mammals. Finally, overlaying that is an incredibly dense thickness of cells called the “new brain,” governing abstract thought. Research has shown that only 5 percent of the “new brain” is used in most humans and therefore, the full and expanded intelligence of the human brain has not yet come into play. In the past it was thought that the “new brain” was the source of 100 percent of all conscious activity, but it has been increasingly shown to be the source of very little activity. Meditation is one of the ways to explore and develop the innate intelligence that exists within us. Scientists believe the “New Brain” is designed primarily for an internal journey, a meditative state that can develop “true intelligence. What is not known is of what that state of true intelligence consists. In the past, western culture had little understanding of the brains higher intelligence. Although some other cultures do practice meditation and have sought out higher levels of being, we in the west haven’t been as open until now. It is now thought that meditation leads into those areas of the new brain and in ways--- not accessible in the ordinary ways. Further scientific study shows there are higher percentages of our children who are considered brilliant and happy. These children have the capacity to control the flow of thought of their brain structure towards a single target and can absorb everything about that activity with lightning speed. They learn much faster then other children and there’s no comparison. On a regular, rhythmic basis they shut out the entire exterior world and go literally catatonic with their eyes wide open. These special children can access being on automatic pilot and move with a controlled flow of thought into the interior worlds, into an interior core of their being. They can focus on their exterior and interior worlds with the same control! There is also a challenge for some advanced children as there is a percentage who lose this capacity because they can not control the flow of thought towards a single object or target and their thoughts can scatter and become disjointed. Scientist consider this a biological breakdown; a fragmentation of signals within the three areas of the brain (the primitive sensory-motor, the emotional-relational “mammal brain” and the thinking intellectual “new brain.”) Researchers say that the three brains are literally in a kind of internal civil war; the sensory-motor system--- the body, aching and complaining, griping and desiring, with all of its appetites. The emotional and relational brain is afraid and anxiety-ridden, hurt, and feeling sorry and angry. The brilliant, happy child is the one who somehow or other slipped through the net that caught the rest of us, unaware of its ability to access such a high percentage of their brain structure. This would put the child in a natural state of being! Research points to such children as having the possibility to a whole-brain ability to restructure, to accommodate new frequencies and to maintain balance. Some people refer to these children as “The Crystal Children”. I have personally met a few of these special children/young adults over the years and their auric field is very different than most people, so is their ability to communicate from a heart level. They say that we all can have access to the intelligence of the total mind-system, depending on how we utilize our internal and sensory systems. These new children can be guides for us, inspirations and leaders into a new world, to a new state of consciousness! For many years, I have been discussing “Holographic Meditations” that open up what is called “realm of insights.” Remember this: The human body is an extension of the Spirit. It is a tailor-made instrument to fulfill the requirements of the Soul. Many of its experiences are planned in advance while leaving room for the choices and preferences of the personality.
